Slow fashion used to be the norm

Back in the days when my grandmother Lucienne was a young woman, it was normal to keep one’s clothes for a long time. “Fast fashion” as we know it simply didn’t exist. If there was a hole in a blouse, it would get repaired. Shoe soles were fixed. No one referred to it as slow fashion. But it was just that.
